Teshina Marcus was crowned Queen of Dominoes when the Ministry of Home Affairs brought off their annual Emancipation competition which was contested on Friday last at the entity’s Brickdam, Head Office.
In the closely contested match, Marcus won by the slimmest of margins, one point, tallying 11 games to Roshonda Burnett and Stacey Joseph who both marked 10 games. Burnett was awarded the second place ahead of Joseph who was loved in the second sitting by Burnett.
Medals were presented to the second and third place finishers whilst a medal and trophy were handed over to Marcus by the wife of sponsor, Mr. Nazeem Mohammad.
Coordinator of the competition, Ovid Glasgow DSM, MHA Administrator complimented the ladies for participating in the competition which he said forms part of the ministry’s focus of building strong camaraderie among its employees.
Also contributing to the tournament were Banks DIH and NALICO/NAFICO.
