Anthony Niles emerged as the King of the Dominoes table when the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) held their King Dominoes competition on Friday last at the entity’s Brickdam headquarters.
In the three sittings held, Niles emerged ahead of his rivals with 12 games, Carle Ageday (9) and Junior Maynard (9). Niles was actually trailing Ageday by a single point, 7 to 8 after the second sitting.
In the final sitting, Ageday could only mark one game to Niles’ 5. Whilst the second and third placed players received medals only, Niles collected the winning medal and trophy presented by Mr. Nazeem Mohammad, one of the sponsors.
Coordinator, Ovid Glasgow DSM, Administrator of the MHA, thanked all the players for participating in the competition which he said serves to enhance camaraderie among the staff at the ministry.
Banks DIH and NALICO/NAFICO also contributed to the tournament.
