Organisers of the inaugural Cricket for Unity T20 match have advised that the game will be played in the month of September on a date to be decided.
Constant rain was responsible for the game being moved from its original date of July 5 at the DCC ground to July 26, today. But due to the current Regional Under-19 tournament, the organisers have been forced to seek a new date for the game.
Chairman of the Organising Committee, Dexter Garnett informed that the players for the two teams, Roraima Strikers and Kaieteur Thunders are eager to get into the middle to show off their skills but will have to wait a bit longer for the game to come off.
He also disclosed that corporate entities who have contributed to the game so far are assured that the game is on and all would be informed in due course of the new date.
