– GABA hosts ‘Trifecta’ tournament
Basketball will return to the Burnham Basketball Court this weekend when the Georgetown Amateur Basketball Association (GABA) hosts its ‘Trifecta’ Tournament, beginning at 18:00hrs tomorrow with Colts taking on Republic Bank Nets.
Game two will feature Plaisance Guardians against Buxton Heat while Eagles play Pepsi Sonics in the third encounter of the night. Trinity Grid Holdings Pacesetters will play Melanie Patriots in the feature game of the night at the outdoor venue.
“It’s a privilege to bring back basketball to the Burnham Basketball Court this weekend, which will be played under new lights or generated light towers,” a release from the GABA indicated yesterday.
The weekend will also feature two senior exhibition games, which are scheduled for Sunday at the same venue. Nets will play Colts and Pacesetters will combat Sonics in those first division games.
