They might not be one of the recognized football clubs in the city but they are doing their bit to keep many young players away from the easily caught on ills of society which has been a constant challenge for this country.
The trade they use to keep the youngsters occupied is football and to encourage their good work, DeSinco Trading of Craig and Sheriff Streets, Campbellville has donated three footballs to encourage them.
DeSinco Trading Human Resource Officer Gemma Williams hands over the balls to Gary Frank at their Sheriff Street Store.
Human Resource Manager Gemma Williams handed over the balls to Coordinator of the Station Street Line Top Crew, Gary Frank, a former player of the Pele Football Club.
Frank disclosed that they are not a registered club but that does not stop them from having the youngsters of the community involved in the world’s greatest sport to keep them gainfully occupied and at the same time, have them involved in healthy activity.
Frank was very grateful to Williams and DeSinco Trading for agreeing to supply the balls to them. He also thanked Managing Director Frank DeAbreu whom he said is a very good friend of sports in Guyana.
Williams urged Frank to ensure that they keep the right focus always.
