The Lusignan Golf Club (LGC) is expected to be buzzing with activity this weekend when the BK International Medal Play tournament is contested.
According to a release from the club, despite the continuous rainfall the ground staff has managed to keep the grounds in playable condition and players are eagerly waiting this weekend’s action.
Defending champion Bolaram Deo, a seasoned golfer at the LGC will be aiming to retain the title but will have to contend with the likes of last year’s second place finisher, Ayube Subhan and Kishan Bacchus among others.
Patrick Prashad took the prize for the nearest to the Pin while Imran Khan recorded the best gross in the 2013 edition of the tournament. In recent weeks, competition has been close and Captain Chatterpaul Deo is expecting a similar trend tomorrow along with the hope that the rain does not fall.
