Dear Editor,
Can the relevant authorities kindly inform the residents of Sophia D section, the third street from the police station, if this area was designated for residents or otherwise.
Since August 2012 a juice factory/kitchen opened its door and the noise started. When I could not take it I had to give up my bedroom. This noise is about 15 feet from my bedroom it is nerve wracking from morning to night, Sunday to Sunday. I take tablets for high blood pressure; I work night duty and it is hard for me.
A toilet is built less than two feet from my fence. And that is not all, a 40-foot container is placed on the parapet as a storeroom and a good hide out at night. I have been living in Sophia since 1994 and never dreamt that Sophia will be uncomfortable for me to live.
Now these people who are making life uncomfortable for us are having a well secured and comfortable area elsewhere and are making us uncomfortable and unsecured. This is Sophia.
So we are appealing for the relevant authorities to urgently intercede on our behalf in this matter. Please.
Sophia Resident
