…woman confess to being owner
Ranks of the Guyana Police Force, on Monday evening held four persons in James Street, Albouystown, with an unlicensed firearm.
The four were travelling in a Silver AT212 car, PJJ 8620.
According to sources, one of the occupants was a female who admitted to being the owner of the weapon.
The .38 weapon had six live rounds and the female who confessed to owning it claimed that she bought from a man at Aranka, in the Cuyuni Mazaruni area.
Charges are expected to be laid shortly.
