Dem boys seh…When people like talk, it bad

If is one thing, some people don’t know, is when fuh keep dem mouth shut. When dem boys use to go to de cinema dem had people who would talk all de way through de movie. Was a steady commentary and if dem did see de movie before, de talking was worse.
Some people use to get up and go home but dem had a set who use to get suh vex that if dem can beat de talker dem would do it.
Well dem boys know a lady who just had to talk. If she wasn’t complaining she was nagging she husband. As soon as de man wake up she gone complaining. De poor man use to just keep he mouth shut and go bout he business. De first thing he hear in de morning is he wife voice and de last thing before he sleep is he wife voice.
One day he get up and go to he farm at the back of he yard. He hook up he mule and he start fuh plough. Just as de sun get too hot he sit down under a tree fuh ketch he breath. De same time he wife bring he lunch. And she start wid she nagging.
De mule had to be fed up because he tun and give she one kick in she back. She fall down and dead. Dem boys seh that de funeral was a moving affair. People would walk up to he and offer dem condolence.
De pastor notice something strange. When dem woman come to de widower, de man wouldn’t seh a word. All he would do is nod. When dem man come to he de pastor see that he would listen then he would shake he head. This was de same wid every man and de same action wid every woman.
De priest decide to talk to de man. “Son, I notice every time you spoke to a woman you would nod at the end but when you spoke to a man you would shake your head.”
De man tell de pastor that it easy. Dem woman would tell me how nice me wife look and how she dress nice and how peaceful she look and I would nod in agreement.
When dem man come all of dem would tell me that I lucky and ask me if de mule is fuh sale and I have to tell dem no.
Talk half and tell some people fuh keep dem mouth shut.
