Barnwell only Guyanese included
Retired Test all-rounder, Darren Sammy, returns to International cricket to lead the Regional side in a two match T20 series against New Zealand in Dominica on Saturday and Sunday, but surprisingly the pugnacious Chris Gayle, considered as the most destructive T20 Opener, has been rested for the short series in the Nature Isle.
Twenty-seven year-old batting all-rounder Christopher Barnwell, who has played six T20s for the West Indies but none in almost a year, regains his place in the squad while the big hitting Kieron Pollard, who has not played any International cricket since last year July because of a knee injury, is also back.
Dwayne Bravo is still nursing a shoulder injury he sustained in the IPL in India, while his younger brother Darren Bravo regains his place after missing the 2014 World T20 in Bangladesh where Marlon Samuels, Ravi Rampaul and Johnson Charles all played but have now not been recalled.
