The National Communications Network Incorporated (NCN Inc.) yesterday June 24, 2014, secured an interim injunction in the High Court of Guyana against local cable service provider Moviestar, for the unauthorized broadcast of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil.
NCN remains the SOLE RIGHTS HOLDER for the broadcast of the games in Guyana and is the only authorized broadcaster, except for DIRECTV and E-Networks Inc., which were authorized by NCN to broadcast the games via their network.
