Region One Chairman, Paul Pierre had the pleasure on Saturday last of cutting the ribbon
at the official opening of Mabaruma’s only Private Resource Centre. The centre is an initiative of Anointed Hearts International Outreach, Inc.
Pastor Shirley Jeffrey of Mabaruma Assembly of God Church was given responsibility for running the centre.
She will be supported by several community members, including Melissa Inniss Thomas, who is second in charge.
Regional Chairman Pierre acknowledged the centre as a valuable contribution to the development of Mabaruma.
He also urged members of the community to make full use of the facility as he promised to render assistance whenever needed.
