– Family seeking answers, requests police intervention
After being missing for over a week, relatives of Amredeo Rambodhar suspect foul play and are calling on the police and relevant authorities to investigate the circumstances of his disappearance in Ituni, Region 10.
Rambodhar’s last known address was Lot 88 Clay Brick Road, Canal Number Two, West Bank Demerara. He was last employed with Crown Mining Company and left the area to attend to a cattle farm in Region 10.
According to his daughter Ashmini Rambodhar, she made a call on Father’s Day and spoke to her dad.
“He just told me he reach and was about to cook. I never heard back anything from him again…the man that carried him in called us and said he was missing and could not be found and no one knows where he gone,” she lamented.
However, the daughter noted that Wednesday last a team of family members visited his worksite but were stopped Saturday last after the mining company sent instructions to call off the search.
Adding that her father’s belongings were brought out, she said the person he was last left with on the cattle farm claims not to know anything of her father’s disappearance.
The family made reports to Mackenzie Police Station, Vigilance Police Station and CID Headquarters, Eve Leary, pertaining to Rambodhar’s disappearance.
They are asking members of the public with any information to contact the police since they are seeking answers.
