Led by Wazir Hussain 52 (4×4,6×6), Richard Latiff 49 (3×4,4×6), Amit Kublall 44 (1×4,6×6) and Navindra Kublall 22 (3×4,1×6), Amral and Sons posted 227-4 off their allotted 15 overs, batting first. Challengers threatened before they were bowled out for 182 in 14 overs in reply. Seekumar Boodram was their leading batsman with 45, Balram Boodram made 40; David George bagged 5-21 and Wazim Sundar 2-32. Hussain was given the man of the match and best batsman awards and George collected the best bowler prize. Both teams took home a trophy each.
In the over-35 segment, Frontline overcame Superstar by six wickets. Superstar managed 119 all out in 17.3 overs, batting first. Deodat Hemraj scored 32 and Kumar Seedyal 27. Mohamed Rafeek grabbed 5-8 off three overs. Frontline responded with 120-4 in 13.2 overs. Kapildev Singh slammed 64 and Rafeek 35. Jagdesh Persaud snared 3-27.
Rafeek took the man of the match and best bowler prizes, Singh the best batsman accolade while both teams received trophies.
Meanwhile, Challengers defeated Speed Boat by 23 runs to capture the Trophy Stall inter-corporation eight overs softball title recently at the said venue.
Batting first, Challengers managed 99-8 in eight overs with Anand Dindyal top scoring with 28 (1×4,3×6) while Raj Premraj cracked 26 (1×4,3×6). The pair came together after Challengers lost a few early wickets and added 54 for the fourth wicket to stead their innings. Greg Singh grabbed 2-23. Speed Boat who drew the bye to the final were restricted for 78-7 in eight overs in reply. Wazir Hussain gave them hope with a brisk 35 (5×4, 2×6), but the rest of the batting failed to offer support as Ravindra Ramnauth captured 2-11.

134-5 in eight overs after taking first strike. Ravi Ramnauth stroked 40 (1×4,5×6) and Seekumar Boodram scored 24 (4×6). Stockfeeds were bowled out for 88 in seven overs in reply. Kelvin Olford snared 3-15 and Ravindra Ramnauth 2-20.
Challengers collected the wining trophy while Speed Boat took the runner up prize. Dindial was given the man of the match award.
