The battle for supremacy and the first place prize of $300,000 will resume tomorrow when the second and final round of the Stag Beer sponsored East Bank Football Association division one league starts tomorrow at the Grove Playfield.
Two matches will be contested and fans can look forward to pulsating action as the teams’ eye points that will set them apart for championship honours.
Facing off in the feature game will be Soesdyke Falcons and Mocha Champs. The Falcons are second in the point’s standings behind leaders Grove Hi Tech and will be thinking of taking full points against Mocha, the only team not to register a point to date.
Teams had a few weeks off to refocus and reassess their performances in the first round and will no doubt be energized and coming at each other full steam from tomorrow.
Opening play at 14:00hrs pits Kuru Kururu Warriors and Herstelling, the fifth and seventh placed teams.
While the exploits of the Warriors are fully documented, new kids on the block, Herstelling have been causing their opponents quite a few challenges and have shown that with every game, they are on the improve. This match-up is anticipated to be a keen contest.
