“Members of the Progressive Youth Organisation, Kitty Group, during the last two weeks,
ventured out into the field asking members of the public; politicians, students and other citizens to compile a book of signatures to show their solidarity and sympathy towards the families of Nigeria of the abducted girls.
“We are so far away from Nigeria but we are heartbroken over the mass kidnapping of so many school girls. These girls could have been our sisters, daughters, nieces or cousins so we want to show them that we have them in our prayers,” said Ms.Natasha Sardinha.
The United Nations Resident Coordinator and Resident Representative, the Progressive Youth Organisation, Kitty Group Chairperson and another member of the group, Nalissa Mathoo, donated the Support for the Families book to Dr. Roberto Campos.
