Letter to the Sports Editor…Claude Raphael and Boston misguides the public again with their UDCA letter

Dear Sports Editor,
Mr. Boston has become the regular pen name for Claude Raphael throughout the course of this manufactured cricket crisis that erupted at the GCB level ever since his boss and friend, Mr. Raphael was kicked off the Directorship of the WICB in 2009. Raphael never came out swinging when he displaced Bish Panday as a Director on the WICB a few years before.
Raphael should tell the Guyanese public of his tenure as a WICB Director and time away in Canada and the United States.  His few months as a director seem to make him an authority on West Indian cricket.
Raphael must understand that changes are necessary and some call it “changing of the guards”.
Whenever Raphael wants to write on a controversial topic, he would use his sidekick, Boston as his pen name and in other circumstances.  Other times he would use his real name but his style of writing is well known and distinguishable.
Raphael/Boston claims that he was in court when Justice Bovell Drakes made an Order. The media has been supplied with a copy of this said Order on numerous occasions and is culpable here in promoting confusion by continuing to publish inaccuracies. The Order simply injuncted his boss, Claude Raphael, Bissoondyal Singh, Ronald Williams, Roger Harper and the remainder of this faction from functioning as the DCB whilst the plaintiff, Mr. K Mangal gave an undertaking to do likewise. If this faction cannot read and comprehend what the interlocutory Order says clearly, they should just do either of two logical things in the circumstances:
1. Ask their attorney to sit them down, read and explain the content and substance of the said Bovell- Drakes Order and, if they think so, possibly pursue a contempt of court proceedings against anyone who they think is contravening the said Order. Roger Harper did file contempt proceedings in this matter and Raphael should find out why Harper decided to withdraw same. Simply, no contempt exists, or
2. Just SHUT UP!
As an expected consequence of the Cricket Administration Bill, this grouping has rushed to Linden and hurriedly conducted a circus in an attempt to fulfil their objective, facilitated by the said Bill but the DCB has made a clear announcement on this issue that any such elections of the UDCA must be done in a legal and constitutional manner by the correct constituents of the area and overseen by independent observers.
This is the exact scene that caused this manufactured cricket crisis when Bissoondyal and Raphael etal went ahead and conducted an illegal parallel AGM of the DCB in January 2011 but was since ordered by the court to cease functioning. They are now recreating the same fiasco in a different area and will only lead to more and more legal wrangling but this seems to be the established modus operandi of this group.
I wonder if Mr. Sharma Solomon knows what is happening in Linden cricket. Does he know that the person recently installed by Raphael and Bissoon holds a PPP Party Card.?
