Competition in the West Demerara Football Association (WDFA) Under-17 league is
set to continue today with three matches at the Goed Fortuin ground, West Bank Demerara.
According to the association, competition to date has been exciting and with a few more rounds to go, Uitvlugt FC and Stewartville FC are the teams to watch as they stake a serious claim for the top prize and bragging rights as the best on the West side.
Uitvlugt will take on Eagles FC in today feature game from 15:00hrs and will be led by the competitions leading goal scorer to date, Germaine Smith who has rocked the nets seven (7) times so far and will be seeking to increase his tally.
Daniel Clark will lead Eagles’ charge; he has scored on four (4) occasions to date. The main supporting game will bring together Den Amstel and Wales from 13:00hrs with opening play at 11:00hrs between Stewartville and Young Achievers.
