Bail was yesterday set to the tune of $100,000 for an Industrial Site, Ruimveldt clothes vendor who was brought before the courts to be indicted for allegedly burgling a city house and making off with a quantity of jewellery and gadgets.
Shawn Isaacs, 21, pleaded not guilty when charged before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry for allegedly breaking into Annette Marshall’s home and making off with her 20 carat gold earring valued at $60,000 and a play station costing $240,000.
Attorney at Law Adrian Thompson submitted a bail application on behalf of the accused. He told the court too that one of the items was recovered.
Isaacs was granted bail and the case will be called again on June 17.
