Universal Sports Store of Second Street Alberttown has supported Everest Cricket Club’s wicketkeeper/batsman Joseph Perry who has landed himself a six-month contract with Vikings Cricket Club of Canada.
The entity handed over a Reebok Topshot cricket bat and a pair of Slazenger wicketkeeping gloves to the cricketer at a simple ceremony held at their location yesterday.
Sports Manager Andrew Budhan said they always try their best to support sport personalities and ensure that they are properly equipped. He wished Perry well in his future endeavours.
Perry is expected to appear for Vikings CC division one team when the Canadian season commences shortly and is expected to leave Guyana by this month end. He thanked the entity for their backing.
