Meanwhile, Spads Inc. of Thomas Street, North Cummingsburg had presented Forde with his airfare to compete in the race and was very happy that the University of Guyana Business Management student was successful yet again.
The athlete paid a courtesy call to Spads Inc. yesterday in a show of gratitude. Spads Inc. Campbell informed Forde in the presence of other employees that Spads will continue to support him in the future while wishing him continued success in his studies at the University of Guyana.
Campbell recalled that former proprietor of the company, the late Stuart Stevenson, an avid admirer and supporter of Forde had committed the entity to assisting Forde during his career.
