Thirteen male players have been shortlisted from Linden to be eligible for drafting into the Men’s National squad to be named shortly with the aim of representing Guyana at this year’s Caribbean Basketball Championships set for the British Virgin Islands in July.
The Linden players named by the LABA as requested by the governing Guyana Amateur Basketball Federation, are: Alister Webster, Shane Webster, Dwayne Roberts, Chris Williams, Lawrence DaCosta, Orin Rose, Sheldron Noel, Amaniki Archibald, Travin Dryden, Keiron Cameron, Alwyn Wilson, Trevor Profit, Stephon Tappin.
The coaches identified for the selection process to the GABF are Abdulla Hamid, Kevin Joseph and Kerwin Abrams.
