New Zealand second innings 288 from 3 declared – Glenn Turner 95, Brian Congdon 82, M. G. Burgess 62 not out. Bowling for West Indies, Sobers, Ali and Gibbs took one wicket. West Indies second innings 121 for 5 – Roy Federicks 31, Michael Carew 28, Charlie Davis 29 not out. Bowling for New Zealand Bruce Taylor took 3 for 26 from 12 overs.
