A new magazine, Guyana Inc. has become a leading forum in providing in an easily understandable format, the unique nuances of Guyana’s business and tourism landscape in high quality graphics designs and enlightening articles.
The publisher of the magazine is Teshawna Lall, the daughter of Kaieteur News Publisher Glenn Lall. The Managing Director of the magazine is her husband, Frank Sanichara. The couple has pioneered four successful monthly editions, but the magazine was officially launched last Saturday at Sueria Manufacturing Inc at the Eccles Industrial Site.
During her presentation, Ms Lall said that after observing the deficiencies in the marketing of Guyana’s resources, she came up with a magazine venture of her own. Her knowledge acquired from travelling extensively across the world and observing the details of how a country’s resources can be best marketed in a positive light, coupled with her expertise and credentials in the marketing field, have all allowed her to build the unshakable pillars of the professional magazine.
Though she had some apprehension in the beginning about making it a quarterly or monthly edition, this was quickly extinguished as the first publication which featured business magnate; Dr. Yesu Persaud was not only a countrywide success. It was one which summoned regional and international praise.
The magazine markets small and large scale businesses. It also does a superb job at highlighting areas that possess potential success for business opportunities in Guyana as well as constructive information on how to get your business started.
Ms. Lall said that the magazine with its slogan, “Entrepreneurs leading the way,” strives to be informative. Its content focuses on promoting not only the fortunes that could be had from investing in Guyana, but also on inspiring stories about entrepreneurs who strive to make a difference. This, she believes, is the catalyst needed to inspire other youths.
Former Appellate judge, Justice Claudette Singh, during the launching ceremony, described the magazine as an instrument of positive influence that has put Guyana on the map, regionally and internationally.
Yesterday, Sanichara said, “Guyana Inc. magazine also focuses on judicial policies, budget data, local events, Guyanese talents, historical overviews and landmarks.”
He said that the mission of the magazine is to showcase Guyana’s true riches so that the country can be significantly recognized worldwide.
According to the webpage, www.guyanainc.biz, over 10,000 copies are printed. Copies of this magazine are available free of cost. They can also be found aboard Fly Jamaica, at CJIA and Ogle International Airports, in all the rooms of Park Vue, Princess and Pegasus and at all the Customer locations which advertise with the magazine.

It can also be had at all Roraima facilities: Roraima Airways, Duke Lodge, Arrowpoint Nature Resort, Roraima Executive Lounge, and Roraima Crew Lounge.
