Food for the Poor Guyana Incorporated, last week, donated several gallons of paint to a number of households in Onderneeming, La Parfaite Harmonie and Belle West village, West Bank Demerara.
The initiative was undertaken after it was realized that many persons who might have completed the construction of their homes, are unable to further enhance its beauty by painting it.
As such, Food for the Poor Guyana, decided to carry out a survey in the low-income section of the communities, to determine who would need the materials.
One household collected as many as 10 gallons of paint and paint brushes.
