If is one thing is de way life does go. Guyanese people tekking blows because de anti-money laundering Bill deh in limbo. De opposition seh dat people must blame de government and de government seh dat de people must blame de opposition.
De thing is dat de opposition seh dat de government ain’t got a right to rule de country because it in de minority. De government seh dat every government got a right to rule and dat it will continue to rule even if it supporting de minority.
De Lunch Man seh dat government is government and is de people talking. He tell de reporters dat when de government seh jump, people must ask ‘How high’. Is dat wha he try wid de Americans. De problem is dat when de government seh jump, de Americans fall down and nearly dead laughing. Dem seh dat is de first time dem ever see a donkey talk.
De same thing happen when reporters ask wha happening wid de Marriott. De government laugh and when de reporters ask why dem laughing de spokesman fuh de government seh dat is de first time dem hear anybody in Guyana questioning de government.
It tek seven months fuh Brazzy arrange de money dat he get from de local people who had money to spend. De government couldn’t come out just like dat and talk about local investors. De local people had to do what dem had to do to avoid problems under de anti-money laundering Bill.
Now dat it fix up, de government ready to talk. It ready to seh how de investors want to keep dem name private. De fact is dat dem want to collect dem profit and dem don’t want to pay taxes. Is de same thing dem do wid de Berbice Bridge.
De profit suh nice dat dem got Robeson telling de world dat he ain’t gun do nutten fuh reduce de profit from de bridge. He is de middle man and he don’t want he margin cut.
Dem boys seh dat selfishness is now ruling things and de same selfish people talking bout national unity. Dem want de whole country to be selfish.
Talk half and try to get a share in de Marriott.
