Following the conclusion of a successful West Indies Fullbore Shooting Championships at the Twickenham Ranges, Jamaica; the West Indies Fullbore Shooting Council named a strong 16-member team and two reserves to compete in International tournaments at any given time.
Two females have also been included, Jamaican Karen Anderson who emerged as the top female during the championships and Barbadian Shellyann Hinds who is one of the two reserve shooters.

Guyana made a clean sweep of the top trophies, retaining the Milex Long Range trophy whilst reclaiming the WIFBSC Short Range Cup from hosts, Jamaica. Lennox Braithwaite made it three times in as many years when he won the Individual Competition.
Jamaican, Major John Nelson was named Captain with ACP Paul Slowe of Guyana appointed Manager of the team.
