Dem boys now understand why dem can’t hear from Steve Suruj, de man in charge of elections in Guyana. He try he best to find people to wuk and now that he find de people he got trouble finding wuk fuh dem.
One of dem boys got a daughter who meet time fuh register to vote suh de man ask he wife to carry de child to register. When de lady go in de centre she see eight people. From de time she enter dem eye light up; was de first wuk dem was getting to do for de week.
Three of dem ask de li’l girl she name. Two of dem decide to find out she name and address then two of dem had to tek she fingerprint. By this time de girl start to get vex but because she decent she bite she lip but one of dem people see suh dem tell she that what dem doing was wukking in duplicate and where necessary, in triplicate.
Imagine that after de girl gone home four of dem go in a car to verify that she live at de address. Steve don’t know it yet but dem people glad that local government elections ain’t starting yet. Is longer dem got de wuk.
De supervisor does sit and look important. When people visit she does act like if she checking something. Dem boys hear when she tell one of de clerks that she see a woman live at Sausage Street. She had to be thinking bout food. Is when a clerk look at de file she manage to tell de supervisor that is a ‘V’ and not a ‘U’.
Now dem boys want to know how she tun Savage into Sausage but then again, strange things does happen every day. Who don’t know that de Guyana Government build de Marriott without extra money from anybody? A US$60 million project get build fuh US$20 million and Guyana didn’t use child labour.
Guyana is de only place that does expel foreigners and frighten to tell dem to leave de country.
And dem boys seh that Luncheon picking fight wid everybody. He pick fight wid Ah Kneel and he looking fuh pick fight wid Donald.
Talk half and watch out fuh de Marriott opening.
