The Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) has named the umpires for their Inter County U-19 50 overs tournament which commences today with two matches.
Essequibo will play the President’s XI at Everest with Omadatt Samaroo and Owen Archer doing on field duties and Nolan Hawke as stand by. Demerara will play Berbice at Wales with M Yosef Yisrael and Edward Bowen in charge and Dawchand Nagassar as the third official.
On Wednesday, the President’s XI will play Demerara at Bourda with Patrick Garnath and Zaheer Mohamed umpiring and Bowen as stand by.
Berbice will clash with Essequibo at Enmore under the watchful eyes of Delvin Austin and Nolan Hawke; Anthony Ramsahai will perform the third official duties.
On Friday at Demerara Cricket Club, Demerara and Essequibo will do battle under the guidance of Nagassar and Ramsahai with Garnath as stand by.
Berbice will come up against the President’s XI at Everest with Moses Ramphal and Bowen doing on field duties and Mohamed stand by.
The final will be played on Sunday 18 at Bourda with Yisrael and Samaroo umpiring and Ava Barker as standby.
