Presidential Guard (PG) and Special Constabulary (SC) won the male and female category of the Guyana Police Force inter division dominoes tournament played recently at Special Constabulary headquarters.
Presidential Guard marked 80 games to beat B Division with 77 and A Division on 67 in the male segment. Anatoly Moti made the maximum 18 games while Ransford Liverpool scored 17 and Jaichand Jarkaran 14 for the winners. Quincy Calder chalked 16, Pitamber Sukrah and Rajpaul Singh supported with 14 each for the runner up team. Dwayne Mingo scored the maximum 18, while Edmond Cooper made 15 and Dwayne Roberts 14 for A Division. Moti received the most valuable player award.
In the female category, Special Constabulary posted 85 games to finish ahead of Headquarters with 73 and C Division on 67. Clare Benjamin made 18 games; Andre Lewis registered 16 and Pamela Phillips 15 for the victors. Head Quarters leading players were June Edwards with 17 and Beverly Smith, 14 while Denise Sobers recorded 15 and Cecilia Garnette 14 for C Division.
Benjamin collected the most outstanding player prize and also shared the first love in the final.
