When Jagdeo give out dem radio licence, he fix it in such a way that only he friends who mekking money from de state coulda pay. Nuff of dem others woulda either had to sell out or shut down. Of course, this is de same man who claim that broadcast licence can’t get transfer unless you name Bobby. He mek one exception. He tell Hits and Bamsee that dem can operate a TV station that he did tek away from another broadcaster son.
When Bibi fix de rates dem boys hear that Bobby run and pay up front. Dem other poor broadcasters beg she fuh lower de rate but she seh that she ain’t controlling it; that dem got to approach Jagdeo. Some of dem approach de courts.
Dem boys seh that de Chief Justice find so much fault that he nearly didn’t rule pun de matter. He find that de people who fix de fees didn’t have de power to fix dem. Is like a man renting a house that he don’t even control.
De Chief Justice also find that dem fix de fee before dem fix de law fuh people broadcast. That mean that a man paying a car fare before he even ketch de car. But dem boys seh that anybody wid sense woulda realise that all of dem who was involve was trying to correct all dem wrong things that Jagdeo did before he lef office.
Well dem boys seh that all who got radio and TV can broadcast and dem don’t have to pay a cent. All of dem can now operate fuh free. De one thing he didn’t seh is that who pay got to get a refund. Well dem boys expect Bobby to put pressure pun Bibi fuh get back all de money he pay. And he smart because he gun demand interest.
If Bibi seh that she done use de money then Bobby gun go and cry to Jagdeo how Bibi tek he money. And of course, is Jagdeo did give she de wuk. Jagdeo giveth and Jagdeo taketh. That is wha Bobby gun remind she.
Talk half and tell Bobby don’t cry.
