Dear Editor,
Sir, permit me once again a small space in your newspaper for the sole purpose on edification of our
sporting public.
It was very deliberate that the same persons who came to Guyana a year ago and stole the elections by many breaches in the GFF constitution based on my very good lawyer friend, who was a part of the then commission, was here again to do the same thing. Lies, lies and more lies. I have never heard in the history of Guyana and the World that any interim bodies can have voting rights anywhere. It is wrong and utter garbage. The President of the GFF assisted by FIFA representatives lies to the people of Guyana. There was no out foxing but just plain lies and deceptions.
Mr. Matthias must go and do so now, we have had enough. Matthias you lost the vote by 9 to 3 since the 6 interim can’t vote. Sir this is not personal but for the good of our nation and save us from starting to believe that a lie is now the truth and acceptable. You are not the President of the GFF legally or anywise. Ivan Persaud VP must take over the GFF now and move the process forward.
In the newspapers it also states that many legal Association Members were locked out of the
Congress while friends and family were accommodated inside. What has football gone to in Guyana.
What is ironic also, is that Mr. Lumumba, King and Wilson were on the inside but lacked the leadership skills to arrest the situation and save Guyana’s football. In Wilson’s time as a caretaker, he tried to care-take but lacked the skill even to do so. Please Mr. Wilson, it is very clear that you are outside of your league, stick with the Sports department of your newspaper.
I plead with our President of Guyana Mr. Ramotar to use his good office for the Good of Guyana and instruct both PS King and Presidential adviser and MP Lumumba that any attempt to hijack our Sports is a conflict of interest. While I am not sure that these regulations apply to Guyana since the Mafia FIFA uses these regulations as and when convenient.
I do wish in closing to congratulate the Electoral Committee for walking out of the Congress based on the many irregularities and lies which took place in that meeting.
