The Guyana Karate Federation (GKF) on Sunday last brought off their National Junior Championships at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall which has been hailed a success.
Trophies were donated by the National Sports Commission which also ensured the uses of the facility and the GKF has expressed gratitude. Mr. Nicholas Hing and Dr. Guy Low of the Guyana Red Cross have also come in for high praise for their support.
A total of 102 Kumite and 78 Kata competitors performed in 19 categories which included males and females.
