Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club was successful in having Gizmos and Gadgets renew its sponsorship of the Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club (RHTY&SC) first division team valued at $275,000. The entity has also donated trophies and electronic items valued $100,000 for the club’s 24th annual awards ceremony.

Gratitude was extended to Gizmos and Gadgets by Club Secretary/CEO Hilbert Foster, thanking them for their investment in one of the leading first division teams in Guyana. The Rose Hall Town Gizmos and Gadgets (RHTG&G), along with long time rival Albion, has been dominating at the first division level in the Ancient County for the past decades and have some of the country’s leading cricketers.
The likes of West Indies Test player Assad Fudadin, WI ODI player Royston Crandon, national player Rajiv Ivan, former national player Delbert Hicks, national Under-19 Captain Shawn Pereira and WI female player Shemaine Campbelle.
Foster stated that with Gizmos and Gadgets’ support the club was able to concentrate fully on playing the game.
RHTG&G, in the last six months won the Busta Champion of Champions 50 overs and NAMILCO/BAKEWELL T20 tournaments. Foster also expressed gratitude to the company for supporting the awards ceremony for the club which strongly believes in rewarding its heroes who performed beyond the call of duty.
Office Manager and Head of the RHTY&SC Cricket Development Committee Moonish Singh disclosed that Royston Crandon would lead the team in 2014 with Shawn Pereira as his deputy. Winston Smith is the Coach, while Hilbert Foster would continue to serve as Manager.
Singh stated that with the current pool of dedicated players the club’s aim is to dominate for the rest of this season with special emphasis being placed on developing players for the future.
Marketing Manager of Gizmos and Gadgets, Ms. Divya Sieudarsan stated that her General Manager Ravi Mangar was pleased to be associated with the team and was very impressed with its achievements.
The team, she noted has promoted the company’s brand with passion and success and as such it had no difficulty with renewing its partnership. Ms. Sieudarsan wished the team more success in the future noting that she was confident the club would continue to uphold the high standards it has set itself.
