The Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) Inter-County U-19 Three-Day cricket competition is scheduled to get underway with the first round beginning on Labour Day, May 1.
In the first round, President X1 comes up against Berbice at the Enmore Community Centre ground, while Essequibo will take on Demerara at the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) ground from May 1-3.
In round two, which commences on Indian Arrival Day (May 5) and concludes on May 7, Demerara and Berbice will clash at the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) ground, Bourda, while Essequibo and President XI will meet at DCC.
The third and final round will be played from May 9 – 11 and will see President X1 facing-off with Demerara at GCC and Berbice coming up against Essequibo at Everest.
The squads are as follow:
Demerara: Ronaldo Renee, Bryan Sattaur, Deonarine Seagoing, Rudolph Singh, Ramnarine Chatura, Malcolm Hubbard, Kemol Savory, Steven Sankar, Stephon Brown, Keon Morris, Kevin Paul, Daniel Basdeo, Sherfane Rutherford, Tagenarine Chanderpaul. The Coach is Gavin Nedd and the Manager is Robert Adonis.
President XI: Ryan Shun, Sunil Singh, Travis Persaud, Vishwantal Ramlakhan, Richee Lucknauth, Vivan Albert, Ershad Ali, Kelvin Sewpersaud, Ronaldo Mohamed, Michael Shalin, Chavin Moriah, Daniel Lewis, Shivnarine Srikissoon, Avishkar Sewkarran. The Coach is Adrian Amsterdam and the Manager is David Black.
Berbice: Shimron Hetmyer, Balchand Baldeo, Leon Andrews, Ashkay Homraj, Viendra Gooniah, Arif Chan, David Latchaya, Sharaz Ramcharran, Hakeem Hinds, Parmanand Ramdhan, Martin Singh, Grisean Grant, Dimitri Cameron, Niall Smith. The Coach is Hubert Evans and the Manager is Julian Cambridge.
Essequibo: Ricardo Peters, Kemo Paul, Akil Wallace, Akini Adams, Ryan Adams, Avenash Persaud, Mahindra Balbadar, Parmesh Parsotam, Shivindra Hemraj, Paul Williams, Paul Simboo, Keno Harry, Travis Drakes, Jamal Heartman. The Coach is Vibert Johnson and the Manager is Fibeon Durant.
