Star Party Rentals has thrown their support behind Quest International with the hosting of a T/20 competition dubbed “Arrival T20 in Enmore” at the Enmore Community Development Centre Ground. The company’s office manager, Kesheka Washington handed over a cheque of an undisclosed amount to Quest International for the staging of the event.
Speaking at the presentation Washington stated that the company usually finds it necessary to give back since it is a functioning organization in society. She added that since the CEO, Lennox Cush is a former national cricketer and performed excellently in the shortest version of the game, the entity saw it as a relevant cause to assist.
Kesheka Washington of Star Party Rental hands over the cheque to Benedict Prince of Quest International.
Benedict Prince, Planning and Organising Officer of Quest International who received the cheque, in a brief remark thanked Mr. Cush for being associated with this inaugural event, adding that it promises to be an exciting show.
The tournament will be a four team knockout competition that will be held on May 5th.
The event which will feature two teams from Georgetown and two teams from the East Coast of Demerara is an initiative by the host to make T20 cricket more competitive on the East Coast of Demerara and to showcase local talent.
