Following a break for the Easter holidays, competition in the Scotiabank/Pepsi Schools Football Academy resumed yesterday and will continue over the weekend at a number of venues.
Yesterday in the Bauxite Mining Town of Linden, Linden Foundation and Wisburg Secondary were expected to face off in a female and male game respectively at the Wisburg Secondary School ground.
Today at the same venue, New Silver City and Wismar Christianburg will face off in a female show from 10:00hrs, the males will match skills from 11:30hrs.
In the City, two matches are slated for the Ministry of Education Ground today and tomorrow. Today’s matches kicking off at 10:00hrs and will see St. George’s High taking on Tutorial High, while from 11:30hrs Bishop’s High comes up against Queen’s College, both matches are male affairs.
Tomorrow will see two more male matches being contested at the same venue, first up at 10:00hrs, Lodge Secondary will oppose North Georgetown with the main attraction bringing together Christ Church and Tucville.
Meanwhile, play in the Ancient County of Berbice will recommence on May 7 with Tutorial Academy playing New Amsterdam Secondary at the Esplanade ground.
