A teenage labourer was yesterday granted bail by Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry when he appeared before her to face two larceny charges.
The 19-year-old who resides in Festival City, North Ruimveldt, Georgetown, was taken to the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court for his first arraignment.

The teen pleaded not guilty to both charges and submitted a bail application which was met with no objections from Police Prosecutor, Inspector Michael Grant.
Bail was granted in the total sum of $85,000 for both charges. The case was transferred to Magistrate Faith McGusty for trial.
