Good Friday come and gone. Was a day when everybody tek a break from wukking. Some people go to church and some just stay home and do nutten. De real Christian didn’t even cook because dem decide that dem had to fast. Some didn’t even bother that dem pickney hungry. De Waterfalls boss man was one.
He couldn’t cook fuh save he life and he maid dem tek de day. Dem is not Christian but once is holiday dem deh. Dem does celebrate Hindu holiday, Muslim holiday and Christian holiday. Dem boys seh that if dem had Jewish holiday in Guyana dem maid woulda been celebrating.
De Waterfalls boss man can’t cook fuh save he life suh when he wake up he watch de stove and de stove watching he. It was as cold as de fridge.
He start fuh quarrel. He call Uncle Adam and ask he if he could explain why people who is not Christian got to tek holiday. Uncle Adam laugh easy because he didn’t want to get de man vex. He get vex wid Brazzy because Brazzy want 10,000 wallaba pole. Then he vex wid Jagdeo because he always vex wid Jagdeo.
De Waterfalls boss man had so much things to get vex about that he still vex. GPL start fuh play wid fairy lights. Dem didn’t have to tek de lights from Uncle Adam pole because he didn’t do dem nutten. If dem had problem dem coulda tek it out on de Waterfalls boss man. But dem frighten he and dem eyes pass Uncle Adam.
Dem know that de boss man would never done wid dem once dem start. Even Good Friday he deh planning fuh dem because he belly was biting he.
Hungry brace de man. All dem shop close, even KFC.  Uncle Adam send over some cross buns and plenty water. De Waterfalls boss man survive because yesterday he was at de office.
Now he studying Brazzy and dem wallaba pole. Is a lot of pole but then again, Brazzy is no stranger to pole.
