Dear Editor,
I call on our brothers and sisters to speak out against the criminals of cloth.
There has been a nasty, cleverly hidden cancer that is eating at the soul of our people, especially the young ones. Embarrassment and fear of embarrassment has caused too many people to shut their mouths against the perpetrators.
A number of so-called religious persons, pandits, imams, pastors and missionaries who “interfere” with and rape young children. Many whispered stories of these so-called religious men abound. They use their position to influence their people and screw up their mind and body for the rest of their lives.
Even worse, the head “religious” organizations cover and “settle” these matters and thus the criminals continue to rape, torture and steal – body, mind and soul.
I wish to plead to the parents of children who have been affected. Do NOT “settle” these matters. Expose them and let us free society of these cancers that will remain festering and hidden until and unless we all speak out.
The moment you accept silent settlement, you become responsible for the rape of others. We have nothing if not a soul and that must be preserved and protected against the criminals who use the garb of religion and the word of God.
Shame on you if you have allowed any other child to suffer – just because you chose to be silent and to “settle” such matters. Like some politicians, we must weed them out and keep them out of our lives and our souls. Shame on the organizations who hide these things away and cause other young people to be at risk.
Yes people can be and are rehabilitated and we pray for them, but in the meantime. let’s protect our children – they are our only future.
