The Demerara Lionesses recently provided lunch for the fifty-five students of the Ptolemy Reid Rehabilitation Centre on Carmichael Street, Georgetown.
The venture was part of the Club’s activities to celebrate its 25th Anniversary, in which members are seeking to feed the occupants of twenty five (25) children homes across the Country.
Club President Blossom Manbodh- Samuels said the exercise was fun and the time spent with the children gave the Lion’s great satisfaction, as it “reinforced our enthusiasm to further serve the Community.”
