The recently launched police “Impact Albouystown Project” received a shot in the arm with an injection of $1M, thanks to Mr. Dean Hassan and investors of Tesouro Resourses.
The team made the donation yesterday to Acting Police Commissioner Seelall Persaud in the Commissioner’s conference room.
The donation come a mere three days after the official launching of the project which was done in Albouystown on Friday last.
In making the presentation in the presence of Senior Officers of the Force’s management team, Hassan said that the company is pleased to support the police in the initiative and other similar projects.
Acting Commissioner Persaud expressed appreciation for the gesture on behalf of the Guyana Police Force and the community leaders of Albouystown.
He noted that it was encouraging to see such an early response from the corporate community which augurs well for the implementation of the project.
