The final of the long awaited Price is Right Supermarket/Upper Corentyne Cricket Association second division cricket competition is now set for this Sunday April 13th at the No. 69 Vikings ground.
The two teams in the final, Corriverton Cricket Club and No. 70 MYO are both exuding confidence and the encounter is expected to be a keenly contested affair and should go down to the wire with the teams being evenly matched.
The final will be 50 overs which has been the case from the semifinal stage. This was done by the UCCA in an effort to lift the standard of second division cricket in the area from which the Upper Corentyne first division team is being selected.
The match will be played using coloured clothing and white balls to allow the selectors from the UCCA to have a better look at the top teams playing in a first division cricket environment. The match is scheduled to begin at 9:30hrs.
The sponsor and UCCA officials will be on hand to meet the teams before the start of the game and to hand over the prizes at the end of the game.
The two teams will come from- Corriverton C.C: Tarik Ibrahim (captain), Jermaine Reid (vice captain), Jeremy Moore, Anthony Seeraj, Rabindra Singh, Imran Jabar, Clavern Beresford, Amzaan Appalsamy, Eric Phillips, Faoud Bacchus, Tulsiram Munesar, Rajeev Persaud & Imron Mohamed.
