Action in this year’s NAMILCO, One Love Reloaded knock-out football tournament is set to continue on Friday with a double header at the Tucville Playfield.
Opening at 18:00hrs brings together Sunburst Camptown and the Mocha based Riddim Squad in what is anticipated to be a keen encounter. Feature play pits home team Fruta Conquerors and Pele Football Club in yet another potentially explosive salvo.
In latest play at the No. 5 Ground, West Coast Berbice, Sunburst Camptown were required to pull out all the stops to get past New Amsterdam United on penalty kicks 4-2 after regulation time failed to decide the outcome.
In the main attraction, national champions and CONCACAF Champions League qualifiers, Alpha ‘The Hammer’ United got the better of Monedderlust, 2-0.
