As some of the best football teams in the world go head-to-head in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League (UEFA CL), Heineken is preparing to launch its latest promotion, which will be labeled ‘Match your Half Ticket’.
The promotion will allow consumers to score high-end prizes, tickets to the Heineken Ultimate Final Viewing Party and, perhaps most excitingly, tickets to a UEFA Champions League game in Europe later this year.
“Heineken has been supporting the UEFA Champions League for the past eight years and the promotions just keep getting better and better. I’m proud that we can give back to our consumers in such an amazing way and offer them the opportunity to view a live football match in Europe,” Ansa McAl Trading Ltd. Heineken Brand Coordinator, Robert Hiscock, said in a press release from the company.
Capitalising on the success of last year’s UEFA CL activity, ‘Find your Seat’, Heineken will be expanding this year’s promotion to cover outlets throughout Guyana, which will give all eligible consumers the chance to get involved.
UEFA fans were asked to ensure that they look for outlets participating in this particular activity; those outlets will be branded with ‘Match your Half Ticket’ promotional material. As part of this year’s activity, Heineken will also launch the Heineken UEFA Series.
The Heineken UEFA Series this month will put consumers against Heineken Ambassadors in a penalty shootout at various bars around the country. This unique promotion, only available with a brand like Heineken, will take place every weekend until May month end.
The promotions will end with a bang at the Final Viewing Party in Georgetown. The Heineken UEFA Champions League promotion began April 1, and Heineken representatives urged those participants, who must be 18 years or over, to Enjoy Heineken Responsibly.
