Cheddi Jagan Memorial over-40 T20…Yadram guides Enterprise to victory

Latchman Yadram stroked four fours and one six in a top score of 49 not out as Enterprise defeated Lusignan by five wickets in the final of the Cheddi Jagan Memorial over-40 T20 tournament last Sunday at Lusignan Community Centre ground.
Enterprise won the toss and inserted Lusignan who made 105-4 off their allotted 20 overs with Chitram Gangadin top scoring with 40 (1×4,3×6). Cheterpaul Singh took 2-5 while Zaikir Khan and Seemangal Yadram had one each.
Enterprise responded with 107-5 in 19 overs with Man of the Match Latchman Yadram leading the way. Chandrakar Geenarine claimed 2-10.
Meanwhile, Enterprise batted first and scored 77-8 and Mavericks replied with 79-7 in the softball competition, but Enterprise successfully lodged a protest due to three of Mavericks players being over age.
