The Berbice Volleyball Association (BVA) in its continuing efforts to promote and develop Volleyball in Schools across the county will be hosting a tournament for primary and secondary schools in Berbice tomorrow at the GTC/PM Courts on the Corentyne.
The competition will feature Primary School teams, both male and female, that participated in Mini-Volley Festivals held by the BVA in 2012 and 2013 and Secondary schools that normally participate in competitions organized by the BVA.
According to the competition’s coordinator, Godwyn Allicock, several schools have already confirmed their participation; among them are All Saints Primary, St Aloysius Primary, Rose Hall Town Primary, Belvedere Primary, Cropper Primary, Tain Primary, Berbice High School, N/A Multilateral, Canje Secondary, Corentyne Comprehensive, JC Chandisingh Secondary and Lower Corentyne Secondary schools.
The action is scheduled to commence at 09:30 hours. Trophies and prizes will be presented to the winners and runners- up in each category.
