The Compton Primo King Dominoes competition was contested recently at Smash Hideout, Pink Shop, Sophia. Chetwin Moriah (6 games) won the opening encounter with Dan Braithwaite placing second with 5 games and Sharon Primo third on 3 games.
Primo won the second encounter with 6 games, sharing the first love of the competition. Dan Braithwaite was second (5) and Moriah third (3). The third and final encounter saw Neville Taylor (6) emerging the winner followed by Moriah (5).
Players were rewarded with trophies from the Primo family, Trophy Stall, Johnny Barnwell and Chetwin Moriah, along with medals from Joseph Harmon.
Meanwhile, play in the Johnny ‘Overseas’ Barnwell birthday Dominoes competition will take place tomorrow at Smash Hideout, Pink Shop Sophia.
Teams from A, B, C, D Field Sophia and East Coast players will be in action. Entrance fee is $500 per player. Trophies are at stake for the outstanding performers.
