The University of Guyana (UG) Inter Faculty t20 cricket competition continued yesterday at the UG ground with Agriculture and Forestry beating Natural Sciences by four wickets in the latest action.
Natural Sciences batted first and were bowled out in 17.5 overs for 122. Skipper Michael Shalim made 57 decorated with three fours and two sixes. Only one other batter reached double figures as Saheed Allishaw took 4-14 off four overs.
When Agri & Forestry replied they reached 128- 6 off 18.1 overs with Davin Warner leading the run chase with an attractive 57. He was supported by his Captain Clevand Kellawan who made 28. Shalim crowned a useful day at the office with 3-11 from his allotted four overs.
The Competition continues on Monday with Staff vs SEES from 10:00hrs and Technology and Agri & Forestry colliding from 14:00hrs.
