Pegasus Hotel celebrates winning two gold medals for two of the leading wines it carries, the Frontera Merlot and Frontera Cabernet Sauvignon. These medals were won at the most recent version of the highly esteemed Berliner Wein Trophy 2014.
Pegasus Hotel has over the past two years been the exclusive distributor of Concha y Toro’s wines in Guyana. Its famous line of Chardonnays, Cabernets, Merlots, Malbecs is already favourite among guests of the Hotel as well as among the Hotel’s elite local patrons who frequent its Ignite and Latino Bars. It is widely known that the mighty Chilean reds are favourites among wine drinkers at every corner of the globe.
In an effort to share the unique wine drinking experience of great wines with the Guyanese public, the Hotel has opened a wine shop in its lobby. The full range of Concha y Toro blends are offered as well as a wide range of wines, both reds and whites, from the main wine-growing regions of the world, including France, Spain, Italy, and Napa Valley. All wines are kept under the correct storage conditions to preserve each unique taste, aroma and character.
To complement this, the Latino Wine Bar and Courtyard offered the same range of fine wines offered in a cozy, relaxing, contemporary setting.
